This trip is with her fellow Students at her school and was organized by a teacher there. But it is parent pay threw a travel club. The teacher said we can do our own fund raising but it must be 100% parent organized. I've taken the lead on this project. The response was greater than i expected. 20 parents and everyone's wheels are turning. plus we have a entire year to raise money. how to we fit in with the tax laws in California. since we are not threw the school and money earned gets split among our children directly deposited into each of their account at the travel company? but this is a educational trip and the children going are all G.A.T.E. or benchmark students my daughter is going on a trip next summer to Washington D.C. / New York .
