Raise Funds On SocialVibe.com

SocialVibe.com is a social media website, that – even though it’s still in its beta testing phase – has already attracted thousands of visitors. In a nutshell: this site uses advertising dollars to donate to causes on their site.

Users sign up for a free account, select their favorite cause to support, then select a sponsor (Apple, Sprint, NBA, Billabong and other big names) whose ‘badge’ (or ad) they add to their profile pages on SocialVibes.com and on other social sites like MySpace.com and FaceBook.com.

The great thing about the site is, that no one is ever asked to donate money to a cause. They’re simply asked to put a sponsor’s advertising ‘badge’ on their profile pages. Points are earned from views/impressions of these badges: the more views or impressions, the more points are earned. The user can then turn the points into donation dollars for their favorite cause. Users can also form networks with others and track how their own points add up.

How can I get my cause on SocialVibe.com?

Since there are only limited funds available, SocialVibe.com will only accept a limited amount of non-profits for their website. Here the selection process according to them:

“We are honored to have the opportunity to work with such great organizations on a daily basis. Like any business, we have a limited amount of funds and, in order to make the maximum impact for each organization, we must limit the number of charities we partner with each year. At the end of each year, we will be assessing those charities that we are currently working with, as well as those who have requested to partner with us. We will then select our charity partners for the following year. We strive to both choose a wide array of causes and also to select those that most strongly resonate with our members.”

SocialVibe.com has recently changed their sign-up process. You do not have to sign up through the website anymore; instead just e-mail them at partners [at] socialvibe.com

Hello Janet, SocialVibe is linked to advertiser network svnetwork and their contact page is here http://www.svnetwork.com/contact . We’ve contacted them, but haven’t heard from them. Maybe they’re not adding any more organizations.
